Venue Review: Southern Hospitality - Restaurant (NYC - New York City)
It's been a couple of weeks since Justin Timberlake's Upper East Side bbq joint, Southern Hospitality opened, so now is a good time to take a step back and see what it's all about.
Page Six offered up some details back in June:
LET'S hope Justin Timberlake has better luck in the restaurant business than his ex-flame Britney Spears, whose Nyla was one of the all-time fiascos. Timberlake and his pals Eytan Sugarman and Trace Ayala are bringing Memphis-style cuisine to Southern Hospitality on Second Avenue near 76th Street, which they've decorated with antiques from Memphis flea markets. The place has its grand opening on Wednesday with dishes derived from Timberlake's original family recipes.
Grub Street was there on opening night. They snapped pics of Mr. Timberlake and of the interior.
Meanwhile, Eater has some reactions:
"In order to completely live up to the actress stereotype, I've also taken a job waiting tables - which I love! Even better, it's at Justin Timberlake's new restaurant called Southern Hospitality, which is a Memphis-themed BBQ joint that really rocks my socks. So far it's really great - and it's not that I'm some huge JT fan - although he is very nice - but I just love being in a place where I can order fried green tomatoes and sweet tea. I mean, how freakin perfect. Plus the JT hype means we have quite the buzz and get a lot of business, which means good cash flow for me. Holla."

Hi,
I am a MBA student and I am working on a project on the ITC Bukhara chain of restaurants. Can somebody please tell me why the ITC Bukhara in NY closed down? I searched a lot for it on the net but couldn't find any reasons for the closure. It would be a great help if somebody gives me this info.
Cheers,
Chetan.
