Venue Review - Wined Up - wine bar - New York (NYC)
Wined Up
913 Broadway
(btwn 20th and 21st St)
New York, New York 10010
(212) 673-6333
The owners of Punch in the Flatiron district expand into a second-floor space above the restaurant with Wined Up. As the name suggests, it’s a wine bar. The chic but cozy lounge lines its 100-foot wall space with wine from both well-known regions as well as smaller vineyards around the world. The selection is there for you to try on the spot as they offer you tables and a light menu of cured meats, cheese platters, fondue and desserts to pair your wine with.
Not accustomed to the nuances of wine tasting? Not to worry, Wined Up equips the imbiber with information packets on vineyards, their wines, and a wall-map so your palettes have an easier time pinpointing all the refinements each spirit has to offer. Best of all Wined Up charms patrons with modest prices (averaging $40 a bottle and $11 a glass), something the recurring beginner and connoisseur can both enjoy.
It is good to expand the capital but it is equally
required to maintain a pleasant environment.

Very good to know! I will add it to my map of NYC wine bars.
