Hot in the City - Showcasing the new Mazda MX-5 Miata at Gotham Hall - New York City (NYC)
Last Night at NYC’s swanky Gotham Hall, Mazda showed the city what a white hot party really is all about. Showcasing their sporty new MX-5 Miata, Mazda whipped up a star-studded event to benefit the New York Fire Department’s Fire Safety Education Fund. The paparazzi lined the red carpet right in front of a gorgeous metallic blue convertible MX-5 as stars like Ashanti, Mario Cantone, Bree Turner, the Gastineau Girls, “Law & Order’s” Epatha Merkerson, “Rescue Me’s” Diane Farr, “The OC” & “Entourage” star Samaire Armstrong, DJ/Producer Brian Burton (aka Dangermouse), Alan Cumming, MTV’s Quddus, “Law & Order SVU” stars Richard Belzer & Diane Neal, “13 Going on 30” and The Wedding Planner” star Judy Greer, and “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy’s” Carson Kressley strolled in. Inside, DJ Samantha Ronson kept the energy high. Balloons full of confetti dropped and popped adding to the festive atmosphere. The VIP Room was loaded with more star power than Daily Variety, and even NY1’s Neil Rosen tried to sneak in and had to be escorted out after too many drinks. The Pussycat Dolls danced the night away around a slick, cherry red MX-5, and even though Gotham Hall was packed, all attention was on the stage as hot alternative band The Flaming Lips rocked the joint.
