The aviation-themed décor at Café Saint-Ex (named after French author & pilot Antoine de Saint-Exupery) stems from owner Mike Benson’s love for and family history with flying. Vintage aeronautical signs, stained glass airplane windows, and aviator maps give the main floor a wamr and inviting Parisian Latin Quarter brasserie vibe. Gate 54, the downstairs lounge, hosts an eclectic range of music from Britpop to indie rock and more. Other whimsical touches run throughout this laid back lounge and the kitchen serves up a seasonal menu of bistro and nouveau American fare. The Chimay Ale Steamed Mussels and the Wild Mushroom Risotto are particularly tasty.
